TB.

I sell stories for a living and build software for fun.

Lately the two keep colliding. Here's the professional half of the picture — the marketing I do for a living, and the AI tools I build because I can't help myself.

What I'm building now

I build to think.

Most of it with AI doing the heavy lifting, which still feels a little like cheating and a lot like the future. The current ones:

The site you're on

Personal website

Multi-page personal site, designed and built end-to-end with Claude Code. Yes, even this page was vibe-coded — meta enough? Next 16, React 19, Tailwind v4, motion, Supabase for the contact form.

Growth Marketing Studio

The marketing site for Growth Marketing Studio, my fractional-CMO consultancy for early-stage startups across Asia. Built solo with AI doing most of the copy iteration and the heavy implementation lifting.

Tobi

The app I always wished someone would build for me, so I built it. Started as a PWA, now becoming Android-native. One place for the practices I actually want to keep up.

A private game for my hard-rock friends

Metal Guild

A pixel-style community platform for the metalheads in my life. Quizzes, profiles, AI-generated metalhead avatars, leaderboards. Private, niche, and a lot of fun to build.

The 25-year version

From code, to story, to building my own thing.

1997 — 2005

The Early Days

It all started with code. I built one of France's first eCommerce sites at Lastminute.com, then launched Orange's first mobile website — back when "mobile internet" was barely a thing. From there, I spent four years evangelizing developer platforms across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific, helping 30+ telecom providers launch innovative mobile services.

2005 — 2018

The Big Tech Years

I traded coding for storytelling. At Alcatel-Lucent, I built marketing organizations from scratch, ran 50+ innovation workshops, and supported 11 internal ventures. At Nokia, I shaped the Big Data & AI narrative and trained 1,500+ sales staff globally. Then at Cisco, I created the digital marketing practice from the ground up, recruited a team of 9, and delivered $42M in bookings.

2018 — Present

Going Solo in Asia

Singapore became home, and entrepreneurship became the mission. Through Growth Marketing Studio, I've been a fractional CMO for early-stage startups across Asia — helping ~140 of them shape their marketing and raise over $20M collectively. I mentor for Google, Techstars, AWS, and Meta, and I've trained 1,900+ marketers. In 2023, I co-founded Glorious, an AI eldercare platform for nursing homes — raising a seed round and building a voice AI product from the ground up.
