Human in progress.

Hi, thanks for stopping by. I'm Thibaut — French, husband, father of two, and a Singaporean by adoption for almost eight years now.

I'm a generalist, which I spent years treating as a polite word for “unfocused.” I've made my peace with it. Wiring together disciplines that don't usually talk to each other turned out to be the whole job.

The Work covers what I do for a living. This page is the rest of me.

What I believe

Ideas are easy, execution is everything — but not all ideas are equal.

When in doubt, asking what a child would do usually helps.

The future isn't certain. It's a product of the choices we make.

Beauty is everywhere, all the time. We just need to pause to see it.

Vulnerability and authenticity aren't weaknesses. They're superpowers.

Wandering is the fastest way to know yourself.

There's only one way to grow. It's to grow.

We can be funny and serious at once. Hard doesn't have to mean boring.

Stories are how humans actually communicate.

Data isn't the issue. Asking the right question is.

What drives me

Two things, mostly.

A tech-optimist with a target. AI is a rare shot at the problems we've left to rot — education, eldercare, climate. That's where I want the tools pointed.

Beauty is already here. We don't need technology to make the world beautiful. Nature, the people around us — it's all here. The job is paying attention before it's gone.

Outside of work

Salt water, mostly.

I'm the grandson of farmers who taught me to read the seasons and respect things that owe you nothing. That reverence eventually pulled me underwater. I'm a PADI diver and an inshore skipper, and some of my favourite hours on this planet have been spent watching my kids' eyes go wide behind a mask. I wrote the long version as a love letter to the ocean.

I shoot photography, make AI art, and play an amount of music that mildly concerns my family. I'm learning Korean, slowly and badly. I trained as an engineer, then did an MBA — a long way of admitting I've never managed to pick one lane. I travel to figure myself out. Still the fastest method I've found.

A few honest boundaries

What I'm not.

Not a fan of vision decks that never ship. Ideas are cheap. Not all are equal, but all are cheap.

Not built for teams that say they want change and quietly prefer things exactly as they are.

Not a specialist. If you need someone to live six layers deep in one channel forever, that's not me — and we'd both be miserable.

Not a doomer. The future isn't fixed. I'd rather build it than fear it.

Not finished. Human in progress, remember.

I love the world, I love people, and I'm always looking for the next way to grow.
